Construction Beehive!
I took the opportunity to go out to the new construction this afternoon so I could give you a first hand report! The place was just buzzing – there were guys walking around on stilts mudding, others were hanging sheetrock, the electricians were busy, and the plumbers were outside working neck deep in a trench. There has definitely been progress made since my last report! The hallways and solariums on all three wings have been sheetrocked. On the first wing the resident rooms have all been sheetrocked, and they are starting on the bathrooms. To my eye, there seem to be vast amounts of silver ductwork for the heating and air systems hanging from the ceiling. On the outside of the building, the brickwork continues; there are portions done here and there, with the outside of the far east wing being almost completed. Well, I guess that covers the things that stood out to me! Stay tuned for the next post…
