About 2 years ago I received a call from this place wondering if I’d want to try being a nurse on the other side of life. All I’d done, and loved as an RN, was Labor and Delivery, with the exception of floating to other areas when needed. Always up for a new adventure, and knowing I couldn’t give up new moms and babies, I decided to work PRN at both places. I figured I’d probably give it 6 months to a year, but didn’t plan on loving it and staying. Here I am, 2 years later, still loving it. Our residents are so easy to fall in love with, my coworkers are amazing, fun and hard workers with integrity. The most incredible thing is, administration goes over, above and beyond what your average administration does for their employees. I’ve never felt so appreciated, supported and cared for like I do here. They have high standards, strong moral ethics and integrity like you just don’t see everywhere these days. It’s so refreshing.

Wow... where to start. Moundridge Manor has the cleanest facility I have ever seen. It is spotless. The residents are taken care of in a manner that is unheard of. I have been a CNA for two years and I admit I have learned MANY new skills in nursing by working at this facility. The staff will thank you every single time you are there to help out too. They go completely out of their way to care for the residents. They perform excellent and consistent intimate care. I have never been to a facility where a bed sore is not only rare, but taken very seriously. The food is superb and I am always satisfied with the meals. This is an excellent place to work. You will find out it is difficult to stay away from the residents once you meet them.
